Michael has over 20 years of operational leadership experience and has been CEO of both public and private companies as well as ground up technology start-ups with successful exits. Michael brings a unique combination of qualitative and quantitative operational strength and experience.
Michael is a leader and a doer. He began his career as a professional athlete after finishing his schooling playing baseball at the University of Michigan. Michael then became a wealth management professional with PWC and was a primary advisor for some of the largest family wealth in Michigan. Through advising large family offices Michael organically transitioned to operational leadership of portfolio companies.
Michael successfully grew and exited numerous companies including automotive, technology, logistics, and food and beverage industries, among others. Mr. McClear is currently a senior partner with Solyco Capital and leads growth and operational optimization initiatives for multiple portfolio companies in addition to leading Be Energy Solutions as CEO.
